different engines have their own particular atributes with this particular project the 3800 offered the best oportunity for making lots of torque, as the rear will be fully loaded at launch, and doing a good portion of accelerating the car at the bottom end of the track.
There are just so many engines, 3800'* are well designed engines especially with superchargers. But believe me i have many different engines so i'm not loyal (AMC,SBC,Chrysler,etc)
I couldnt rate it i'm still a v8 person but it does it'* job without problems and will handle the turbo so... it'* great!
but with my twin engines car (it'* so awesom on Al'* ride i gotta make me one, since my tools made his 442 LOL!
I am planning on using my sisters last car a, 87 chrysler Lebaron GTS 2.2L Turbo I and putting a rear 2.2L Turbo II in the back (a hatchback so great engine acces LOL.) for my warm weather cruiser/racer. and the Nova my dedicated dragcar.
