yes, and no. The G body was created in 1995 to be used for the Riviera and Aurora vehicles. In 2000 the G Body was shortined, and made slightly lighter and was renamed the H body. Remember when in 2000 the Bonneville was advertised as having a "brand new Chassis that was much more rigid than its predecessors?" that was the New H-body, or the modified G body. The 2000+ Aurora, Bonneville, STS, and LeSabre are all H bodies. the aurora was only technically a G body from 95-99 then it was changed to the H designation to share platforms/some parts with the Bonneville.
