My 92
Well sense ive been away so long ill update on my newest project..a 1992 camaro RS 25th anniversary edition.A good friend of mine needed the space so i glady took it off his hands when i got it it was literally a bare shell and we put the rear end under it just to put it on my trailer and the k memb]er...this car is 99% rust free and the underside is painted already...ive repainted the engine bay and bolted in the k member and rear end cut a coil put the springs and struts in...has a long way to go but is eventually going to have tubed suspension..and maybe a turbo or two..the pic on the trailer is when i picked it up and the others are after new paint and such

if you go turbo or short headers you will be good, but long tube headers/lowered suspension are difficult to do on a thirdgen. i have long tubes and just left it open because the frame is too close to the trans. ive been trying to put an exhaust on it though, made a different th400 crossmember, now im debating whether i want to cut and move the frame to allow the pipes to go strait back or put bad kinks in the pipe

alot of people do shorty headers and single or dual in the stock location, kinda seems like cheating to me. not much gain over stock either with all those kinks and bends

Did this 3rd gen have a turbo/intercooler on it? I see an intercooler on the front in the pics. Awesome project, though! Can't wait to see the finished product!
