Hey, that corn liquor with some supporting mods and proper tuning can be quite the advantage in itself!

Yes, E85 has a higher octane rating than gasoline and allows me to run higher boost levels without having to worry about detonation. The only problem is that I have to run like 20% more E85 than I would gasoline. So no E85 for me until I buy larger injectors as mine are already almost maxed out.

For us in the Northeast, it isn't E85, it'* Fed mandated 10% ethanol blend. And that ethanol is bought wherever at the cheapest price. Worst freaking thing they ever did for an engine and everything else, tank to injectors.

Yep, you need 25% larger injectors to match gas.
