My friend owns a 2004 lightning stock he was running 13.7 now hes got about 485-500hp hes runnin 12.1 he cant go over that because rods are week but he wants 11s BAD. Hes going to JDM motorsports to do a safe tune then well see. Anything he races on the street here in windsor ontario doesnt have a chance.

I couldnt find information one the 2004 wrx sti. But i got some for the 2003. 0-60 4.3secs
1/4 13.3 secs. 300hp and 300 ft lbs. The 2004 will be about the same there just doing a front fascia lift. That lightning that was racing was a 2000-2001. those are only 360hp. So depending on year of wrx. or how modded the lightning was.

The hp and torque stats for a new WRX sti are exactly the same as for 2004. A regular WRX has 227 hp and 217 lb-ft of torque, which is still pretty impressive for a car of its weight & size. All I can say is - that must be one hell of a Ford to beat it!
