lol i have 20 acres and ive outgrown it and got into some legal trouble because I like to venture onto other peoples property... and i too have a lengthy drive to work..

i got this place for just what the house and average yard go for in this area. because the realtors and banks dont use logic when setting the price. they go by the first 8 acres plus the house when assessing value.

Join the Military, make a decent amount of money, do what you want when your contract is up. It'* what I'm doing.

as long as you stick to the plan its a good idea. most people end up buying a bunch of big toys when they could have saved up and gotten a good start on a house or property
