Very nice!

But...the 1-2 shift, Paul that seems awfully quick..or did you let off...

Not to take the spotlight...but listen to this
www.rubix.ca/cgi/aurora/May3rd012.mpeg

Notice how my 1-2 shift is a lot longer? Or I am I listening wrong?

Otherwise....looks great!

Nope. You heard it right. 1-2 shift comes up pretty quick. If you can see the tach, it was reading 6000 rpm at about 55 mph when it shifted and I never let up at all until the end.
0-60 run takes about 6.0 sec.

Nice runs Paul, I didn't get any sound though
I haven't had the chance to go above 108mph with my Intense PCM yet, I have full confidence it will do what I ask.
I specifically wanted you to hear my exhaust tone with the headers and no CAT.
Hope it works for you.

And this goes away with stock pcm right? So we can rule out plugs and wires and things. My guess is they may be shooting for too much timing and the pcm is pulling a ton of it right back out due to KR. The most KR the pcm can pull to fix knock is 15 degrees. The most I would be expecting the pcm to try for would be 18 or 19 timing but if they try to shoot for something like 25 detonation will cause the PCM to pull as much timing as it needs to fix the KR which can feel like a limiter (in fact thats what the limiter is)

BTW a fellow COCGP member went through 3 engines with his DHP until it was found out that the PCM was asking for 30 degrees of timing so I would be careful pushing it until the car is scanned or you go back to stock pcm.
OK, now you're getting me worried.
If I send out the DHP to Intense for a reprogram, I'll never get it back in time for the Albany meet and drags coming up in a few weeks, and I really don't want to go back to the stock PCM...
So you don't think that this is the torque management kicking in :?: :?:

I'll say that I've never experieanced that surge at 105. Even with my INTENSE PCM that still had torque mgmt in it. In fact, I would say i've never had the car surge like that. A non PCM related things to check would be try cheking your fuel pump screen to see if its clogged. A scan would tell us what your fuel pulse widths are doing so we can tell if its a fuel delivery problem or if its the pcm pulling timing. I think thats the next best move for you.

His 1-2 is shorter because its reving faster because of more horsepower. Also not sure what the gearing is on the aurora but that may be different. I bet with stock pcm his 1-2 shift is REALLY short shifting almost 700 rpm earlier than with the DHP.
