4500 rpm'* and above was where I always lived.

Me too, but its also fun to go out and beat on a little 4 cylinder at like 6000+rpms all day. I would give anything for torque but still had fun with my Quad 4 Calais.....downshifting into a gear when I'm already at 5000rpm in the gear I'm in is BADASS.
