Picked up a used truck
An extremely anal retentive Major I work with sold me his truck. I bought it site unseen, he wanted $1,000 and I know he takes care of his stuff. It has been dealer maintained and garage kept. May give it to my 16 year old son (he wants a bonny or a wrangler) but it is a bit tougher to drive with the 5 speed and it does need some tenderness to shift smoothly.
Although this guy is anal retentive and only let the dealer do the maintenance- he is also tight with his bucks and the only option this has is air conditioning.167,000 miles.
Have not told the wife yet- as I still have a year of payments on the 2007 F-350 that sits in a garage.

Yes, its an XL, 1994. It spent most of its life at FT Riley KS and FT Knox, KY. Looks like a farm truck- yet looks like the most it ever carried was some army backpacks, etc. I added the left and right pics now that I am at work. To the train in and it wouldn't let me add those pics on the train for some reason.
Checked out a few Ford forum boards- and have to say the quality of the posts on this forum and the responses are generations above the Ford Forums- wonder if we know how fortunate we are to have this forum!

Thanks for the compliments.
I won't even take my lifted Wrangler mudding- guess I am anal about keeping em nice also...
Just hope I don't go overboard and try to make it extra perfect and dump a lot of money into it- I have a bad habit of it.
BTW- I am at Bumper City at this moment- they are installing the GXP bumper, will post some pics- wish I had taken a before pic....
