Not really sure what kind of speeds. We were driving completely by "feel", which is what I recommend if anybody ever gets time on a track. I took the curves to the limit of when the tires started losing grip, and then maintained speed until I knew I could give it throttle and drift up to the outside wall for the corner exit. I wasn't even concerned with my actual speed. You can get yourself into trouble if you watch your gauges too much, especially if it'* your first time on a certain track.
I'm just glad for all the hours I spent playing NASCAR racing games on the computer while growing up!
