Default My previous vehicles

Well I've showed you all my GXP, but I've owned a lot of fun cars over the years, each has so many special memories, and I miss them all.

My first car was a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 1.8L engine, no power steering, no power anything. The only optional extra was A/C, since it was an import from California. In Canada, in winter, heater full blast, it was still an ice box! Since it was my first though, I think it'* actually the most memorable now.

I once locked myself out of it in the middle of no where in the mountains, I managed to get back in without breaking anything by sliding a stick in through a gap I made by separating the window glass from the door frame. I found one long enough to flick the little locker tab!

I sold my Eclipse for a 2001 Ford Mustang GT. The Mustang was no doubt the most fun car I've owned, and was the most eye-catching, in my opinion. It met a bad end though when in my young wisdom, I decided to go around a wet bend a little too fast. I made pretty firm contact with a tree, and that was that!

Before:

After:

As a replacement, I was still out of money from the Mustang, so I inherited a car my sister used to have, a 1990'* Pontiac Grand Prix that had some mis-matched panels after having smacked a deer. It wasn't anything special, but I took it out to Vancouver and had a lot of nice drives in it too, until a young woman hit the side of it, I took the claim and they wrote it off.

The next car was a 1999 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5. When I bought it the engine had a blown head gasket, I opted to fix it and ended up replacing the block with one out from a junk yard because the one in it cracked. Was a big job, but was quite an experience. After I got it all back together I took it out to Vancouver Island, which was nice. Decided to sell it though... still not sure why!

There are a couple bikes in between too, but this covers the cars I've had. Now of course there'* my GXP, which, actually, is the best equipped and highest performing vehicle that I've had now. It has the sound (and power) like that of my Mustang with equipment like the Subaru had, minus the sunroof. I'm all for keeping the GXP for a long time, it'll do pretty much everything I'll ever need a vehicle for. Having four doors, and a big trunk is nice.
