My Other Pontiac: 2005 GTO
When the GTO'* were reintroduced in 2004 they instantly became my dream car but @ $33K-$34K the price was out of reach. Finally, 2 years ago I was able to purchase a perfect 4,800 mile 2005 model.
At four years old now, it currently has 8,400 miles on the 400 horsepower LS2 6-speed. It is 1 of 680 Midnight Blue Metallic 6-speeds produced for the entire three year production run.
The mod list is very mild because I wanted it to be easily converted back into factory stock condition:
*K&N CAI
*160 Deg Thermostat
*H-pipe & Flowmasters
*GMM (Australia) billet shifter
*Lou'* short shifter stick
*Team Voodoo Pearl Powdercoat Billet Shift ****
*Lovells (Australia) Bushings, Diff Inserts, Struts, Shocks
*Lovells 3/4" drop springs
*Work Meister 2 piece custom order staggered wheels 18 X 8 and 18 X 9.5 WORK WHEELS : 877-361-0296
*Toyo Proxes T1R 245/45-18 and 265/35-18
*Venture Shield Clear Bra
*15% Tint
I'll have more pics of this and my other stuff soon, but unfortunately I've had the double whammy of losing 8 years worth of pics from my hard drive PLUS my Villagephotos.com photo hosting site going down the tubes with hardware failures/viruses, and possibly just crooks...having to start over

I wanted one too, but I live in Canada and not only could you not buy one here, you could not buy one from the States and import it. I believe that has changed in the last year or so, and we can now import one, but by that time I had my eye on the G8 GXP.
Very nice car. Let'* get a supercharger in there.

Thanks guys!
The best news is that Villagephotos.com came up (at least for a while yesterday) & I was able to get some pics back on my computer.
Here'* a pic from last September right before we ran "the Tail of the Dragon" US129 on the Tennessee/North Carolina border:
My a$$ end along with a fellow Goat owner in front of Brushy Mountain State Prison, which housed Martin Luther King assassin James Earl Ray until his death:

There is a guy running around St. Cloud with an black 05, full exhaust, procharger and other mods who is putting down 625hp to the ground. Nice pics, hope you can get more of your memories back

Very nice ride. Too bad the new GTO had such a short run but hopefully that will end up being good for those that were able to get one. Thanks for sharing.
