Default GTP Trike transformation

Hello. I'm in the planing stage of building a Fwd reverse trike from my 2002 pontiac gtp. Wanted to make sure it would be ok to share the build here when it gets started next month. I'm having a real shop do most of the fab and whatnot. The car was nailed.... Hard... and is beyond repair. Still drove onto the trailer under her own power tho.
The lower pic is my little doodle that I came up with just to get my idea across.
Thanks.

Anything you can think of to watch out for?
I dont think it will weigh that much, I'm worried that the stock trans will not preform well if I where to get on it. I know The stock l67 3.8 dose not like to rev very high either.....

A stock L36 or L67 isn't designed to rev over 5500. Heck most of its power is lost beyond 4K. So why bother right?

The trans is either a 60E, or 65E, which means, they are rated for 6000lbs or 6500lbs. If your cutting half the car off the chassis, that just makes it easier and less stressful for the trans to move all that weight. Less weight, the better.

In your application, your torque is going to want to flip your rear end up and over the engine. So I would want to install as much weight as possible in the rear. If your going to use the existing engine A-frame, build the rest of the frame using steel. This should help with weight distribution towards the rear.

So, are you going to just car the car right behind the A-pillar as most people do?

And a big question, are you going to make this street legal?

i would be very interested too, seems like the ultimate lightweight build. i would certainly be putting a roll cage on it for one, its going to be insane. the l67 is meant to be fast low end, you dont need to worry about the trans. it is engineered to be the proper gears for the engines power rpm band. and like mike said since its designed for a ton more weight it will last just fine in a performance application. low gears really work well for boosted applications which is why gm uses them. you cant compare it to the other ones that have motorcycle engines, thats where they make the power is high rpm. the l67 makes a ton of power right off idle, with much less weight its just going to be that much faster off the line. should be pretty decent on gas too, because of the low end and low gears, those motorcycle ones are screaming at highway speed.

That was my plain to start with, but my fiero is my daily driver. I dont live very far from work and it seemed like a waste of a good power-plant.
I bought a 2007 Harley-Davidson superglide a few years ago and loved it, but I cant ride it anymore thanks to an old injury that got worse. (It'* for sale btw) $5000 obo
I'd like to have a reverse trike that you sit on top of like a real motorcycle.
It'* going to be street legal and we have already started the processes of getting the necessary documents to do so. Missouri is very big on having a bill of sale for all major components during a build like this.
The plain for now is to only use the engine, trans, engine cradle and the front suspension with tubular control arms and fully adjustable coil overs.
The nose is going to have a somewhat low skid bar like they put on the rear of a street bike for stunts. This way if I slam on the brakes, the rear of the bike will not flip over on top of me.
Something like the bike pictured below, but more of a relaxed cruiser.
