Notice the sig. My PCM isn't exactly stock
But a good P&P would do nicely on the TB and LIM. I "recently" replaced my UIM with a sleeved unit and LIM gaskets (not Al at the time :( ) back in March with Bill Buttermore so there'* no huge rush to get back down in there. We ended up installing Bill'* smaller stovepipe and prototype sleeved UIM which previously belonged to 57ChevyThunder I believe.
I'm also graduating college in December and this is my only car and I have no garage, yet. The plan is to get a 00+ SSEi and hopefully
keep this one. At that point I'd tackle a top end rebuild and new Dorman upper to go with (the UIM on there has a very slight warp at the TB connection). I feel like I have the confidence to get down to the LIM again on my own after seeing the job done, but I'd want another car (and a garage ) as a backup so I wouldn't have to rush anything. I'm still sort of new to the car game, but I'm learning quickly.
Edit - I JUST realized I never turned off my traction control
Would that make a difference at all? I still got a little wheelspin as you can tell, but would having the TC on hold any power back?
