I should have done this sooner, I don't know why I didn't. Here is my dad'* 1967 Mercury Cougar.

Since he bought it he has been building it up to take a BigBlock FE Ford 428 cj and now its all set to take it, its jut a matter of finishing th motor which is about a year or two away. Then after that paint, a true Pearl White /w Purple Pin Stripes

The color of that car is amazing, its what really sets it off in my opinion. Hes going to paint it white? Man, i wouldn't.

X a bunch. That car is gorgeous. A pearl color, especially white, is going to look HORRIBLE on a Cougar. And purple pinstripes? God, I hope like hell you're joking...

He is set on Pearl White & Purple Pinstripes, I think it is going to look awesome, you guys really don't think so?

It not gonna be the pearl white you normally see, its gonna have a sortof purple hue to it, like it'll look white at some angles and purple in others. It'll be sweet. Thats just somethine he has always wanted.

I love a white car, honestly my unbiased opinion, dad'* as well.

And no he wasn't kidding about the purple headers

So a white basecoat with pearl clear mixed with, say, 15% purple tint?

I could see it.
