Well, it was a nice car. Sure it will be again after the engine rebuild.

He ruptured a fuel line. When he got in the car again, he turned the ignition on, pumping fuel again onto the headers.

Nothing major.

would scare the crap out of me for being nothing major. I would worry about the car going up in flames, or getting burned and so on.

You guys might not remember, that I may be the only member here who managed to recover a current car from a fire.

The Zilla was in flames just over 3 years ago. I got it put out before any major damage occurred.

Oh yeah? Well I'll bet I'm the only member who set a hay truck on fire and shut down I-90 but still managed to save not only the truck and trailers, but half the load too!

What a stupid, bone head driver.
I think he went a little overboard with that burnout. No respect for tires or his mechanicals.
That'* a turbo car. It needs air flow for proper cooling. Excess heat caused the fire.
Why would anyone run rubber fuel line under the car. :?
Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't melt his turbo vanes.
