Not sure, I think Ford started using electronics in '76. I know they didn't put computers in until '83, first used on the Ranger IIRC. I don't think the vans changed until later in the '80s, the body style didn't at least, so I assume it would have been the late 80'* when things got more computerized.

That is the first time i have seen an '01 Jeep Cherokee in a 2 door, didn't know they even made them in the newer years. Learn something new everyday.

EDIT - Is the "Built with pride in Lorain, Ohio" sticker still on the window? Those were built about 5 miles from my house.

rofl, i have dug up a few of those...also found a realy cool looking lifted 4x4 Club Wagon on car domain

One more thing we have found out....lol
