Default The Big Project-My other car

This is my other car, or rather project car. It is a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. I am completely resto-modding it. It has a built 360cu.in. interceptor motor with a lunati cam, double roller timing chain, edlebrock intake, Hooker headers, and 360 drag racing heads that combine for a wickedly high compresion rated motor. I still haven't decided on a color yet (originally a bright red), but the interior is going to be a black bucket seat with a console (origianly a brown bench seat on the column). As you can see I have a long ways to go. Mainly I just need money though (it would help if my Bonny would quit showing the abuse that it received from its previous owners-I still love it though)

I'm gonna run a square bore 650cfm Holley. If you know of any in good shape that are forsale let me know(if it won't cost more than a new one of course)

I dont think I have anything that would be cheap to rebuild. I have a "750" Holley that flows closer to 1050, but It was in a nasty roll over and got mud shoved in almost every hole and never ran quite right.

Other than that we've sold all of our race carbs. . . . .

It may look like it needs more work than it does. One thing for sure is that it won't be cheap when it goes to the body shop LOL. I was fortunat that the floor and trunk pans weren't rusted as it had been sitting in a pasture for over ten years. with a rusted out rain water reservoir. That is the first thing to be getting hacked into. then its time to put the brake lines in and then time for the fun part, making it go under its own power. Then its off to the body shop where the guy has agreed to work on it section by section according to when and how much I can pay him in cash. Which means that it will be done in about 5 years (college kid without any money unless a miracle happens and I get a full ride scholarship or something similar LOL)
