The first one is a little unbelievable. It certainly doesn't look like 200 mph to me.

I counted the road stripes for about 10 seconds once his speedometer was just about pegged, and he passed about 60 stripes. I think each stripe is about 10 feet long and are about 20 feet apart (anyone know for sure? I'm just guesstimating) so he would have been going roughly 120mph. Maybe he rigged it to read kph?

I've seen a few hayabusa vids, they had a tach/speedo in km/h, and they hit over 300...

If I was looking at it correctly, the inner numbers were kph, outer were mph, right?

I had a buddy'* ZX-11 up to 174 as indicated on the speed-o. With the error produced at higher speeds as the wheel increases in diameter I estimate it was actually around 155. The grass and trees along side the road were a dull green blur and my head felt like it was coming off of my shoulders.

I too have a difficult time believing the speed in the first video wasn't somehow rigged.

Neat vid, but ya, that cant be accurate gage readings. Watch on the left as they pass the turnaround emerg lane...looks to slow to be going 200 mph at that point. And a 110 mph wheelie...
