Driver'* Door / Ground Buss?
Drivers controls will not make any windows go up or down. All windos work at their door switch. Also, driver'* side door controlls will not adjust mirrors, lock or unlock doors, lock windows, and seat memory doesn't work.
From things I've read here, it appears that if the windows work if you use the control on their door, then the module in the driver'* door must be good since all other window controllers send a signal that has to go through that module for "permission". I've noticed that on the drivers door, the window lock button blinks on and off sometimes. Usually this button lights up when the window lock is on.
One more thing, all of the lights are working on the driver'* door buttons. The fuses and the circuit breaker are fine.
I left my window rolled down a couple of inches over the weekend and we got a good bit of rain. The only thing that got wet was that area of the driver'* door. All of the controls worked fine Monday morning on my way to work. I used the mirror adjustment buttons, rolled my window up and down a couple of times, and used the seat memory buttons and they all worked. I went to the drive through window at the bank and felt like a complete idiot when the window would not roll down.
May be the ground buss I guess, can someone tell me exactly where that is, in reading several threads it seems that it'* located in different places on different models.
Thanks,

I believe on your year it'* along the outside edge under the dash. But I don'
t think that'* the problem. I woudl take a look at teh door controls and clean them up real good and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks,
Do you have to take the door panel off, or does it pop out? I tried, but didn't want to use much force until I knew for sure. Also, is the "circuit breaker" in the rear fuse box re-settable? I didn't look at it real close and didn't realize it was a circuit breaker and not just another relay.

O.K., I took the control panel off the drivers door, took it all apart and cleaned it all up. Initialy, everything worked perfectly! On the way home from work, the two rear windows rolled down by themselves and won't roll up. The mirrors work sometimes, and the drivers and passengers windows work occasionally. On the drivers and passengers window, they roll down fine, but when rolling up, the jerk up about an inch then stop, then up another inch then stop. I also noticed that when I attempt to make the right rear window go down, while I'm holding the button on the driver'* door in the down position, the car actually seems to skip a little.
What in the world is going on? Where is the grounding buss located and what exactly does it look like. I've seen the pictures that people have posted of what it looks like, but there'* nothing that looks like that under my carpet.
Please supply pics of the part and a pic of how to get to it if possible.
THanks,

The ground bus is along the floor pan by the bottom door sill, juts in front of the seat. You need to pull up the finish trim along the door sill and then the kick panel off where the hood latch is. Pull the carpet up and look for a wire loom and elongated black plastic case.

I appreciate your help, but on a 2001 the ground buss isn't there. the wire loom turns toward the center of the car in front of the seat. There is a ground bus mounted to the A pillar right by the hood latch handle. Is that it. Mine'* perfectly clean.
Any other ideas? Now all the windows are down and nothing works. It'll be a cold ride to work tomorrow and there'* nothing I can do about it unless you have some ideas.
Thanks,
