headrest removal

The white plastic sleeves are what lock the headrests in the seat. About in the middle of the sleeve, you can see a notch in the plastic and a retaining ring. this is what locks into a notch in the headrest. The idea is to insert a long, thin piece of metal down through the plastic grommet in the seat cover and turn the sleeve 90*. Either way will do. this will allow the headrests to come right out.

FYI to others.. 96+ years have a squared plastic piece on top of the seat back. Hole in the front.. you push a paperclip etc into it and it releases
