Default Saying Hello & Help

Thanks for this site - I just bought a 66 Bonnie Convert last week. It was item #140324411600 on Ebay. Some of you may have seen it. I am going to be asking many questions on here as I go through the mechanics of this car. It has 84K original miles and is all original. Problem is she has been sitting for 14 years and needs some TLC to the mechanics. She runs okay but needs a complete tune up, radiator fluch, gas tank drained and boiled out, and carb rebuilt, and brakes gone thru. What I really NEED right now is to find out about another car that I am considering to buy. I need to know how rare this car is, and need the PRODUCTION NUMBERS on 1966 Bonnie CONVERTIBLES that came with 421 Engines, and how many of those 421's had Tri-Powers. This is suppose to be an original 66 Bonnie Convertible 421 Tri-Power Car. I have many pictures of it, and looks really good except for a little rust around the rear wheel well openings where the fender skirts attach. Can anyone help me out with these production #'s??? Thanks Mike-IllinoisClick image for larger version

Welcome

Very nice car, going to be a great project. We don't have a lot of the old car members, but to tell you the truth, we are starting to see a few more rolling in. Just start with one project and go threw it, then on to the next. Look forward to seeing the project as it goes.

Welcome
Nice ride..something to be very proud of when you are done getting her into tip-top shape. We will what we can to help you, but not too many of the older Pontiac's and their owners are here.

Welcome to the BonnevilleForum MIKROBKIRK, We dont have a database that breaks those kind of numbers down. I would clal GM and they might be able to steer you. Hope to see you get some pics of your ride up
