Default Newbie from NJ

I've been lurking on this site in anticipation of buying my new Bonneville and yesterday I finally got her. She is a 2000 ssei with 75000 miles. I had the opportunity to run her up the New Jersey Turnpike last night and does she ever move. I used to have a 89 sle bonneville, but I passed it along to my son, before I knew about this site. I'm looking forward to many years with this new Bonneville and being an active member of this site.
Are there any meets in NJ?

Hi and welcome (Lookey everyone..another person from New England area!!!!!)

There aren't currently any meets going on in NJ that I'm aware of... There is a big meet coming up in May.. Check out the NEBF 07 thread in the National Meets section.

BTW..what color is that supercharged beast? (I'm in CT and own a pulley puller when you are ready)

I'll keep that pulley puller in mind. Its Bronze mist. Beautiful color. Can't wait to post the pictures. It has the 01 wheel centers instead of those ugly 00 centers.

Welcome to BC!

It sounds like you were already a Bonneville fan, so it probably didn't take too much this time around, huh?

and Hans....he already bought it...so probably not much opportunity to get the price down now...lol.

I bought it yesterday from a little old man who happens to be one helluva mechanic. My father. We are a 3 generation bonneville family. My father was so disappointed that Pontiac dropped the Bonneville from their line-up. He had to settle for the Buick Lucerne CSX
