Trigga, reality check. You are FWD. That is for a RWD. If you have 10k to modify the chassis and body to mate with the entire drivetrain you'll have to buy (total cost 15-20 THOUSAND), sure it'll work just great.

yeah i all ready have a 396 and a 454 engine and i was just wondering and getting other thoughts on this, because I have a another Sle bonneville me and someone is going to work on.

The 4.6 was shoehorned into the 04-05 Bonnevilles.... I think you would have an extremely hard time stuffing a 396 Big Block in there..
For the $$$ you might just as well buy a GTO...
If you wanted to stuff a chevy V8 in there than I'd say LS4 swap with the beefed up 65-E trans, and that if you want it to remain FWD... Even then I think you will pay in excess of 5k for the engine and possibly the 65-E as a combo...

I might just sell the SLE so i try and find a 96 impala, when i get a hold to a digital camera I'll post some pics. or like v688 said, ill sell the SLE,(not the chevy engines 
) and try and find a supercharger because i all ready have a heavy duty drive train...etc. and put that on my 92 sse. oh yeah is there some other way to tell whats your paint code, a previous owner must've sprayed over the tag on the spare tire cover. I dont know if my color is white or bright white. but im guessing its white though because i looked at it besides a white grand prix and mine looked dingey.
