Default And Another Newbie

Hello!

I have just purchased a 95 Bonneville Series II AOD, Black with gray interior, not sure which model for there are no markings, it does have a leather Cobra Head shaped shifter knob .

I used to have a 93 SE years ago and loved it! Been through a few vehicles since then and found myself going back to the Bonneville. I was shocked to find a site dedicated to the Bonneville for helpful information, for I have a few "fixins" to do on the car, so you will see me asking questions here and there.

Great site!

Wendy

The 95 is a great year for Bonnies. Mine was solid as a rock.

Welcome.

Wendy:
Welcome to the club.

I sold my 95 black with grey leather interior back in April to Carmax. The car had around 190K and was still going strong. Indeed 95 was a great year for Bonnevilles.

Thanks everyone!

I have been outside all day going through the Bonneville, fixing things I could, and making a list for the others (suprising it is not that long). My 95 has only 101,000 miles on her and she does feel very strong yet.

Only dissapointment so far is when the cd player ate my cd. :( Fixed that by putting my system from my other car in it (since the stearing wheel controls didn't work and didn't want to tear it apart).

I am getting out of a 93 Thunderbird Sc (supercharged v6 3.8L) and I have to admit that the Bonneville has more "spirit" than the Bird did!

Soon, I'll take a couple pictures (got to have that signature thingie too )

I will ask for help when the need arises (cross fingers it doesn't).

Thanks everyone,
Wendy

Try a Supercharged Bonneville on for size sometime.....maybe at our next West Coast meet

I grew up in Davis, so you're sort of a neighbor. Welcome!

I would like to see a Supercharged Bonneville, used to run my Bird at Sac raceway.

I grew up on the stock car tracks (with my Dad) and I am worse with cars than my husband or my two sons. I have no problem getting under the hood and doing the work myself.

Will keep my eye open for the West Coast meet.
