In 1995 I bought my first Bonneville and did not care too much for the SSEI front nose design but over time the look became easier for me to handle and appreciate. Now that I have a Bonneville with the nose design I really believe that your comments are right on the mark. I hope that Pontiac can turn things around in the next two years and sell more automobiles. The G6 is a good start and hopefully the Bonneville will remain the large family sedan. The Solstice looks nice but is way under powered. With the competition offering 400 to 600 HP the 170 HP Solstice just does not cut it.

I love my SLE and its looks really good, I am glad it looks like a GXP! Wouldn't give it up for all the money in the world, well maybe a GXP... But I like my fuel economy better and the 205hp is enough for me!

I like the allover aggressive styling of the 00 to 03 SLE/SSEi Bonnevilles, cause theres no other sedans that even remotely resembles it. Power is a nice touch for them, and the fact that the engines are so receptive to mods. Northturds dont exactly have very many mods, infact only a few?. All of pontiacs lines look the same from the GA to the GTO, only one that looks different is the minivan and the solstice.

05 GXP here. Love the car so far... my biggest complaint is massive amount of brake dust on the front wheels. :(

2004 black gxp All the talk about trim levels doesn't matter much as the bonne is dead for 2006. The only differece in trim between the SLE amd GXP is spoiler, tailpipes, and wheels
