This DTC is set when no response is received from the remote control door lock receiver when the BCM requests information or sends configuration commands.

i imagine there is an issue with the receiver. the tires use the same module, do those work? i imagine there is an issue with it that only effects programing if so. everything else must be good for the tpms to read.

Yes the tires work everything with the traction system is good. Someone else was saying it could be a bcm issue I didn't know weather it was the receiver or bcm

pretty sure the tpms and key fobs go through the receiver module then are communicated to the other modules through the data bus. so dont think the bcm has anything to do with it on the newer cars.

Ok makes sense! Do you know where the receiver is located? And another question so I auto checked this car , and in 07 it was in a wreck. Air bags were deployed. There is no air bag light that lights up in the dash when I turnk key to on. And where is says passanger on or off, the on or off doesn't light up at anytime. Either does the seat belt light next to it either. The only thing that is lit up is passenger air bag. I'm starting to think there was no air bags put back in. It was wrecked in front according to auto check , everything else was perfectly fixed.

OK, jumping on another post and saying you have the same problem.....
Do you have a Tech II?
Same year and vehicle?
Getting code B3101?
Do you have a fob that works, and are you trying to program another fob?
Or you had a fob that previously worked, doesn't, and are trying to program a replacement?
Are you a Tech?
