I may look at a Grand Prix (update) 1st offer from dealer
I am thinking about selling my 02 :( Getting tired of having issue after issue after issue with it.
I found a couple new 07 GT leftovers and I wonder what kinda problems do they have. Water leaks? Are they sensitive to vibration like my Bonny is? Anything else? What'* the difference in ride between GT and my car?
I may have more questions later, but for now I'm just thinking about it.

The Prixs I have driver had a more taught suspension and terrible back seat room and visibility although they look rather nice.
Consumer reports says they are thirsty. Whatever that means. Maybe the gen III a little different in mileage?

Nah, they're comparing it'* MPG with Accords and Camries, which get about the same on the highway, a little better in the city. They don't take into account that the GPGT/SC will hose an Accord or Camry in every performance aspect.
The GPGT/SC is going to be a bit stiffer than the Bonnie, but not terribly so. It'* a sports sedan, after all. It doesn't have quite as much room all around, but I'm still comfortable driving them, and I'm a BIG guy.(6', 280) Steering/handling are more responsive/tighter, and the extra 15hp, and less weight make for almost a second faster in the 1/4, stock/stock.
Trunk space is still incredible, and the rear seats aren't bad, just not as LaZBoy-like as the Bonnie.
My verdict:

I like tight steering and suspension That'* the one thing I didn't like about the 93 Park Avenue Ultra I had. The steering and ride was nothing like either of my Bonneville'*' those cars are for old people at least that generation was
It shows the HP is at 260...what changes did they make to get the extra HP?
GonneVille did you sit in the back seat? If so how much room does it have. I have not sat in or drove one of these since around the 2K model.

I love these cars, I would jsut suggest finding one that you like and jsut sit in it and feel it out before taking it out on the road
And I think the extra 15 hp came from the Gen V supercharger.
And Make sure it has premium gas for improved performance

I emailed the three dealers here that each have one. They are stickered between 28-29K I haven't told them yet that I get fleet pricing, I just inquired about them. They replied back and said their internet pricing on then are upper 24 to the low 25K range this did include taxes and freight. It didn't include the 1K extra off for already owning a 99+ GM vehicle or you get 0%apr.

I'm not sure what'* a great deal on one of these cars. It seems that there is not a lot of room for negotiation.
The sticker list the one I'm looking at for $28,279. The deal offered to me so far is $23,592. This includes freight and all rebates and excludes the 0% APR gm is offering, if I choose to take the 0% the price then would be 26,592. My GM Buyers discount price is actually more than what they are offering :?
No real savings either way
23,593/60 with 4.99% apr = 445.10 ----- ( taking advantage of all rebates )
26,592/60 with .. 0%.. apr = 443.21 ---- ( forfiting all rebates for the 0% apr)
What I don't get is this is a 07 leftover shouldn't I be able to get a killer deal? When I bought my truck in January in of 06 as a 05 leftover I got a great deal. I also get a discount on buying Fords from my company...that gave me 5k off and Ford had another 5K in rebates. which made my $41,700 truck drop in price to $31,700 I was even able to get more off of that with some extras I bought. I had the dealer install headrest DVD'*, Line-X and a Tonneau cover. I also got a 5 year premium warranty and a 3 year maintenance contract. All this including taxes tags and title out the door for $34,600. I want a deal, to me 4K off isn't much or is it?
