It could be the last year they tested a part on?? Rule of thumb is, if its designed for the 3800, then some minor modification would be need to make the part fit the body/chassis. Just like my CAI, i had to move my charcoal canister to route the air hose into the fenderwell.

yeah thats kind of what i figured because i looked at a guy from works car('97 bonnie) and the only thing really different from our enigine placements was the washer fluid and the battery but otherwise it was all the same

Yea, like i said. Just about any bolt on part for tbe 3800 should work on any platform. With the exception of headers/exhaust.
