Oil filter housing , 400ci firebird
My '75 Pontiac firebird 400ci engine has it seems a plastic housing for the oil filter. Is a metal one available for it.
At the moment the oil switch doesn't work and I want to install an electrical pressure sender & gauge. If a metal sender isn't available how do you get the oil switch to work other than cobbling together some kind of ground?.
Thanks in anticipation;
Roger.

maybe a remote oil filter adapter like this would work you would get a remote filter kit too, or they have oil cooler kits you could use the ports for pressure. i dont know the 400 engine but my chevy has a few different ports i have one in the top for the switch and a couple above the filter adapter for pressure.
