Perfectly-cut brake line to nowhere
While I was cleaning under the hood, I noticed this.
I'm not low on fluid, I can stop the car just fine, the end is perfectly cut, there'* no matching broken end, and the lines going to all four wheels are intact.
What the heck am I looking at?

It looks like it went where you see that coupling on the brake line. It appears someone replaced a line and left the old stuff behind. Much easier to do it that way just incase you break another line trying to pull out the old one.

Mike, you need to get more sleep. No fifth wheel on a car, and no brake lines to fifth wheel anyway. It was not a serious comment, more like a doofus detector. Looks like I caught one.
