Question Help with GF'* '97 Grand Prix

Ok, I need some opinions... the *new* girlfriend'* car is a '97 GP with the n/a 3800. This is what its doing:

*randomly dies after car is warmed up
*car first loses power then dies
*usually will restart but die if you hit the gas
*let it sit 10 hours and it will run great for a few days, then repeats cycle
*is throwing a P0300 code (random misfire)
*the most recent time it died (last night) she said the lights all dimmed for a few miles before it finally shut off.

I am thinking the fuel pump is on its way out, the car has 192,000 miles and its all original fuel pump. I changed the fuel filter (that was nearly clogged) but its still doing this, but seems to be less frequent. Anyone have any ideas? do I seem to be on the right track?

Start with checking both battery cables on both ends of corrosion.

If you thinks it a fuel pump can you check the fuel psi ? spec is 48-55 psi with KOEO<Key On Engine Off>
How did you get the code pulled? Do you have a scanner?

i've already checked the battery cables, and I took it to Advance Auto where they'll check it for free. They printed me off the code and its description.

If those are good then test the fuel pressure. If that'* good, then unplug the MAF and try driving with out. You will get a SES light.

I had an ignition module go bad that once it got warmed up it would stall like that and start up once it had cooled. It did happen every time the car got warmed up
