2006 Pontiac Torrent problems
I just had the throttle body replaced at the cost of $450.00 and I still have problems starting when I let it sit for a few minutes. No problem starting when engine is cold. Any suggestions what to do next?

Is the check engine light on? Some of these have a engine control module calibration update to correct a engine no start hot soak. Have your dealer check for calibration updates.

When the car would not start were things like fuel pressure, spark, and injector pulses checked?
I have never heard of anybody replacing a throttle body due to a non-start condition, I could see having the butterfly valve cleaned.
I could see the MAF being replaced if it were tested and deemed faulty, but an AC Delco MAF for your car is only 60.00
And an AC DELCO Throttle Body / Part # 2173108 is only 171.79 on Rockauto.com, and they are not that hard to replace, still I can only see maybe replacing the MAF, which can be done without replacing the whole throttle body.
Did a mechanic diagnose one of those as actually being bad, or did they just suggest that may fix your issue?
I am not familiar with the 2007 Torrent'*, so I cannot suggest what else could have been causing the car to not start when hot, I am sure somebody familiar with the Torrent'* will respond and help you soon.
Oh yeah, welcome to the forums Kim.

Kim some of these models had an update to the Engine control module for this concern. When this happens, are you able to get it started whenever the gas pedal is pressed down.
Forgot to add, assuming no engine misfires are felt. These cars have bad issues with the headgaskets blowing. Just a fyi.

Was this a GM shop that replaced the throttle body?
You have to check for codes.....
One thing I have seen is the air tube that goes into the snorkel from the rear of the engine gets disconnected.....screws up the MAF readings.....
