Default 99 Grand Prix GTP

A friend of mine has a 99 Grand Prix GTP (13x,xxx Miles)
I think the fuel pump is going bad but hes not sure,
car will run for a while (time vary'*) then loose power and almost start to miss
will kick a very few missfire codes
shut it off and it will start back up fine and run good for a short period of time again
car will eventually stall out.

it did this a few times last fall when it was warm
very few times if any over the winter
then once the weather got warm 80 plus out
started happening big time
any ideas or suggestions?
thanks Andy

Get a fuel pressure gauge. Check the fuel pressure after keying on (no start) 3 times. Tell us what the pressure is, and how long it takes to bleed down.

Also check the pressure at idle, and at idle with the vacuum line pulled from the FPR.

I agree..the only way to know for sure is to test with a gauge.
