Default 04 montana wont start AFTER 60/90 mins

Good Day,

Ok here is the issue.

04 montana 3400 engine, vehicle runs fine however after driving for say
60-90 mins will not start.

Vehicle will start not problem when cold but after out and about and going to
3,4 places it just won't start. So I wait about 30-60 mins for things to cool down
and then it will start again with no problem and run.

It turns over but will not fire up almost like there is no fuel getting to the
engine.

This issue started maybe 2,3 months ago on occasion but now it does it
every time I go out and use it for 60-90 mins.

I had a engine tune up, spark plugs etc changed about 2 months ago and it was not throwing any codes, sensors etc the dealership could not duplicate the problem so they recommended tune up etc etc but that did not fix the problem.

Any ideas out there?

thanks,

Colin

normally crank position sensor or ign control module. if you have or can borrow a heat gun you can care fully warm the icm and start it or run it and warm it and it quits then thats your issue, the cks is not so easy to get at and neither will throw a code

A cheap spark tester is your friend when you has no start issues.
