Default stalling at low speed

my 2006 Montana has developed a sporadic low speed stalling problem. when coming to a stop or going from one highway to another the rpms will drop below 750 then either climb back up or stall. this all happens under30 mph. sometimes it will stall while coasting to a stop. cruising speed is fine, no chugs or missing. was going to change fuel filter until I found out it was on the pump. any suggestions appreciated. thanks

Do you have any service or engine lights on? If so, scan for OBDII codes.
Generally speaking the IAC (intake air control) is responsible for idle, often wont throw a code.
Sometimes cleaning the carbon out of the IAC ports/plunger may restore good driveability.

If you are going to replace the IAC, ensure you buy a Declo or Delphi part.
Hope this helps.

Pop the hood and have a look in there. If there is a surrounding cover it will have to be removed. The IAC meter'* the intake air so it will be recognizable by that small 2 triangular end base, located on side of throttle body.
Get a few pics...inside of your 3.9..post them back too !

Default Stalling at low speed

Hope these pictures are helpful. I have been trying to find the IAC valve at an online parts store, not having much luck. A picture would help. Rock Auto doesn't even list one for my vehicle. I am still looking. I'm leaning toward the thing with the green bolt in the picture. Thanks for all the help!

Not familiar with your ride, but found some info online that may help you find the IAC.

""Find you air filter box, follow the black tube that comes out of it. where the black tube meets the engine is the throttle body. Look at the top and back of the throttle body, you will see black thing that is attached to the throttle body there are 2 star head screws holding this to the throttle body and a plug on the top of it. That'* the IAC valve""

I looked and could not find a IAC for your car anywhere, but I could find what is sold as the IAC Electrical connector...
