1999 GTP error codes
Hi all
I just replaced the fuel pump and the EGR valve that had a code P1404.
After a week of driving a couple new codes came up P0440 and P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction / Small Leak Detected.
I checked all vacuum lines and everything seems fine. Anyother ideas to what could be wrong?
If possible a vacuum diagram would be nice in case I missed something. These Haynes manuals are not the best.

That'* the EVAP system and is a bit of a pain to track down. The lines go all the way back to the fuel tank. It could be as simple as a bad or loose gas cap. Could also be a hole in the filler neck. The lines run from the back to the front and you will need to inspect them all.

Thxs for the reply DANTHURS.
My visual inspection of the vacuum lines was a failure. The vacuum line had splits on both ends (on the underneath) It ran from the valve purge solenoid to the TB. (part of the EVAP system as mentioned) PT# 24506665
Dealership ordered the wrong part so I had to wait a few extra days. Drove it 10 miles and so far so good. No codes. (crosses fingers)
I'll do gas cap next because I'd hate to check those lines from front to back if the codes come up again..
Thxs again
