95-99 Rear end on a 94?
I have a 94 Bonneville SE with SSE taillights right now, but I REALLY like the taillights on the 95-99s...
They look like they would fit as long as I replaced my trunk lid at the same time (which is okay, since it has some body damage from before I bought it).
Anybody have any thoughts?
Thanks!

Off topic, but since I know you did it....if I were to replace the rear sway bar on my 94, will any SSEi sway bar work from 92-99? Or are there only certain years that will fit my 94?
Thank you!
Thank you!

If you have a bunch of money to pay a body shop or you know a really nice body man then it'* definatly doable. You'll need to do some cutting and welding.

The taillight/trunk swap is DOABLE!!! I have my 1999 SSEi parked next to my SLE and the quarters are the exact same. The only sheet metal parts that changed from 1992/1995 to 1996/1999 were the front fenders, trunk, door cladding, rocker panel mouldings (these fit on a 1994 -I put 1998 SE rocker mouldings on my 1994), and the bumpers.
I als have personally seen a 1995 with the 1996/1999 taillights and trunk at a repair lot (Rick'* in Royalton 2 years ago when I had my 1993 SSE). Asked the guys if the rear end had been cut and welded and they said the car was rear-ended, but only the trunk lid and tail lights were damaged. Happened to have a 1996 parts car so the swapped the parts. Only thing they had to do was paint to match.

Woohoo!
Now things are looking better....I get my SSEi rear swaybar on Monday, and we'll have to see about that rear end swap after that!
