Compare the two pics before and after. The new chain looks to be tighter.

Cams are cheaper than rockers. And who sez a cam didn't happen in the last 34 hours?

Interesting turning point. While the cylinder heads may be done, but not the LIM and SC, I actually put SOMETHING BACK on the engine for the first time in 4 months.

Like I said..nice chain stretch These motors like any do stretch a chain, it'* simply going to happen over enough miles, runtime and track passes. I was impressed by the chain impression on the cam and crank gears. Will need to check my own.

Looking good Bill... bout time you got something "done"

WOW, that was stretched, but not enough to make ya worry. Looking good, Wren. Can't wait to see her running and some new vids.

Let'* not forget..this car is what I consider low mileage. IIRC at most it'* at 110K or 120K miles.

Yeah it wasn't really that bad, but yeah, he has something like 112k?

Boy, I'd hate to see the timing chain on my 4.3.

Mileage is under 115k, IIRC. Hard to remember. Haven't had power to check the odometer in awhile.

It'* a shame to need to go inside when it'* so young. That'* like performing surgery on a child.
