My dishwasher gets thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before using it for dishes. Probably time to start talking about the car more than the parts washer. I'll have an update tonight.

While this adds no performance, it'* an important part of the build, considering the abuse my valve covers take each year. As I'm posting, the front cover is nearly done and ready to go out for coating also. I won't do these myself. They'll be done professionally. I only paid $16 for the pair, so the $50-ish bucks in coating will be well worth it in the long run.
In the meantime, I've recieved about 1/3 of the rebuild parts, gaskets, and bolts that I've ordered.
