Mike, we gotta talk again soon about the variable length runner idea. I have a donor L36 UIM here, and think I've figured out how to control and actuate it. Not truly variable, but switching between long and short at a specific rpm. That'* off-topic, but something to think about when discussing HV3, LIM, and UIM flow and performance.

We should know something soon. With regards to the ZZP HV3 and the LIM changes being discussed, don't forget that an HV3 by itself won't gain what it would without the biggest restriction in the system, the LIM, being 'improved'. Doing the LIM will insure a bit more performance out of any flow-related mod. They all work together, and IMO, the LIM is clearly the weak link in the system.

Zoom told me to expect about 2 tenths from the HV3 with my mods, so will if you are going to make a comment like that then this LIM better be one hell of an improvement lmao. Dont get my expectations to high.

Mike1995 was never able to scratch the tires from 15-20mph. He can every time now. It delivers more low-end than I thought, and he felt it all the way to the top.

Again, the HV3 may deliver even more on top of that, but you may lose some of the low end you gain from the LIM.

I have to agree with Bill here, the HV3 is all about the high rpm only..
The work Bill is doing is low RPM torque.. I'll say it again, :P

Low RPM torque.

BTW, that looks really good, anyone talking with Ben about getting this done on his 97?

Bill, if ship you one of those L36 TB'* will you work it for Ben? Or who ever did that nice work.
Also those intake runners look real good.

Looks good guys.

It is funny you guys talk about breaking them loose from 15 or so. I have always been able to do that, even with brand new aggressive tires. And when i went out for a spirted drive while tring to see how the tranny was, i punched it from about 20 and laid a B E A uuuutiful twin line in the road for atleast i would have to 35 feet. I wish i would have took a picture. It was a thing of beauty. I am very excited to see the out come of the LIM and TB on my car. I think that it will really open up some low end.
