ZillaMotorsports strikes again. Jr3800 Update Page 5
For all you daily drivers, looking for great mods for DAILY driving. We NA'* have good top end. Most of us are looking at creating better off the line low end torque. This really sounds promising. Especially when not losing top end. As a matter of fact, I think I will try it myself. My car is stock. This will be the only mod other than mild shift kit on this car. I will have a butt dyno for you by next Wednesday. (hopefully). Stay tuned....< get it?

He'* a good friend of mine and he will admit the same.
I don't bullshit. Find me one other time when I did. I have nothing to gain.
But the L36 is completely different. It already has top-end, and would not benefit as much. L36 owners, as was just mentioned by kaldergrosse, are looking for a way to open up the bottom end.
So, the L36 will benefit more from an LIM port job than it would the HV. Only the L36 here!
Please, read the whole post! I know you have some good reading comprehension, just gotta read the whole post.
You're comparing apples to oranges, bud.

Port Matched LIM vs. HV3 comparison isn't necessary.
Obviously, cleaning up casting errors in the LIM ports without opening them up much more will benefit the entire RPM rage.
If you don't want to make any sacrifices with your low end, this mod is GREAT.
Of course, the HV3 will shift your powerband up. It shortens the intake runners by a few inches. If you want to go fast n/a you HAVE TO sacrifice some low end for top end. The HV3 adds about a half inch to the HVII which means there is slightly less of a loss.
I had almost every bolt on there was (cam, heads, HVII, TOGs, etc.), and I matched my LIM 3 years ago.
I still had PLENTY of low end grunt.
HV3 doesn't equal dog off the line. I've actually had EXPERIENCE with an HV insert.

Guys, I'm not looking to make this a track car... Nor stop light to stop light racer.... I'm just looking to see what I can get out of a basically stock car... The Lower intake was the icing on the cake... And it made the most difference out of any 1 thing I have done to the car...
2 people have driven the car after the lower intake, and were surprised by the 2nd gear pull... Better than its ever been...
Mike has driven my car a few times as we were slowly making the changes... Even mike was impressed...
Brad drove it through Orlando and was impressed with the 2nd gear pickup...
After having driven the series I SC 3800, I can say that I have gained a bit of what I was looking for... The very low end will never be as strong as any 3800 SC, but its better... The low end is slightly better, the midrange is nicely improved...
I just wanted to see what could be done with a stock car... So far so good...
Before I mod anything else the car will get a trans first... Mine is very tired.... Still works but tired

The top end or top of the rev band come along a bit easier than it used to, doesn't seem to be as much of a struggle to get there...

Two more (the last, other than a shortstar and northstar) throttle bodies were delivered today.
Harofreak00, you've made too many changes. Your data is worthless.
BonneMeMn, before you stick that badge on, we need to work out before/after data collection for the L27.
BOTH of you.....I STARTED smoothing the bores and stopped for two reasons. First, I was swamped. Second, if I started and stopped, you'd be more likely to finish it up.
Geterdun.

You useless *****!
A green and gold badge on my car? C'mon bill.... That would make every little appearance mod be worthless and a waste of my time..
I might call you tonight Bill..
EDIT: we went from temps in the 20'* last week to 81 today. I NEED to get that power back...
