Yes Brad it is on the unhappy side... Next time we make it to the yard we are looking for a 97 3.06 Trans with low miles for me to pull... The 95 trans will be the one that gets built
Not sure if everyone noticed in the first Vid... I never let off... But it seemed like I did... Once you pass 15mph there is no 4k rev limiter on the 95'*... I didn't like how the trans acted.. But 155k, what can we do

Don, my tranny is about the same and has about 140k. I have been thinking about a 1997 grand prix gt tranny, with the 3.29'*. Not sure yet though.

Here is a roll video i did of mine about 2 weeks ago. That is with 1/4 tank of gas, and my system (very heavy, probably close to 100 pounds total),

Keep in mind Don wasn't selected because he'* my co-admin. He was selected for the reason that his car has NO part on it for performance that wasn't a modified stock part other than the high-flow kitty.
All his gains (at least 95% of them) were from modifying stock parts.

OFF TOPIC or is it?
Harofreakishness and BonerMEMn.....package is packed in packing material.
3 throttle bodies.
1 set of supercharger rotors.
many misc thingies.
2 bottles of SC oil to replace what Haro sent to Cheetah per our deal.
extra TB gasket for boner-boy
other stuff I forgot already
Envelope for each of you somewhat clearly marked.
Extra screws are for both of you.
ROUGH work done on TB bores. I expect each of you to finish them by wet-sanding in varying grits. I didn't have time to really get down to a smooth finish on them.
Shipping out at noon-ish PST Wednesday. Not sure on ETA. I'll update you offline.
These are the LAST TWO test cars for the 06/07 off-season. Godspeed, and Jason, you need to get in touch with me for before/after scantool data. We learned alot from jr's3800'* scan/tests to get some better comprehensive data off the L27.
Split the car rags/packing material between you.
:end newsflash:

Great to see things worked out so well! Now you got me thinking and I have a couple of questions.
1. If you have an extra set of heads would it be worth it to port them while doing a LIM if you're NA? When I say port I don't mean take a bunch more material off than port matching but maybe from 1.9 X .9 to 2.0 X 1.0 or somthing like that. I assume this would be to large of an opening for a NA (L27 here) but I just wanted to check.
2. When you do your pems, did you remove any material from the exhaust side of the heads or just from the exhaust manifold itself?
3. Is there a casting number list as to what numbers relate to what head (L27, L36, etc)?
