I held the record for horsepower with a stage 1X cam
for about an hour. I pulled 268.8 with 340 ft/lb torque today. Had some major drop off in power around 6 grand with what sounded like a miss. I wasn't logging misfires so not for sure but going to grab some new plugs and wires tomorrow and change em to see if it helps.
An hour later Chris Mercendante (Merc on clubgp) pulled a 304 with 360 torque to take the record. He has a ported blower and a few other mods over me but his car was dialed in and sounding sweet!
We dynoed about 11 3800'* today 1 of them a series 1 ssei (Gonneville). I never realized the whine on the series 1 blowers was so loud. Much louder than mine. Must be due to the smaller pulley size. His pull was 162 or so at the wheels (dont remember exactly).
Finally we also dynoed Scott'* GXP. Disappointing to say the least. 202 fwhp with 240 ft/lb torque. With a stock rating of 275 crarnk we should have seen 220 or so.
I'll post my dyno sheet tomorrow. To tired to do it tonight.

Damn. You have ALL the fun.
Todd, I've never heard an 'intaked' Series 1 that wasn't louder than a Series 2. With my smaller pulley (2.2") and the raised rev limiter, I'm spinning my M62 at 16,000 rpm'* wide open.
Honestly, I don't think it'* any louder than yours in reality, it'* just a higher pitch.

Here are the pulls. The first was with a 3.2 no Knock and a little rich so I put on a 3.0 and Scott leaned it out a bit. 2nd and third pulls were stronger with more boost but had the "miss" problem at 6 grand. Not sure what that is yet. The power equates to
336HP with 425 ft/lb torque at the crank.

336!! Wow! Now i tried to find the difference between this and your pre-cam days with the roller rockers . . . No Luck. Weren't you around 304 with just the rockers?
You know me, just trying to figure out if it would be worth my time to go straight for the cam.
one last thing, i could not see the horsepower sheet on your post.
