Default This winter'* mods....

Well, I've got me a little list of mods that I think I can pull of this winter. First off would be a Gen V, and with the recent posting by the Bills, it'll be at least polished, maybe a little more, along with the LIM and TB. Around the same time the nitrous kit will be goin in, it'll be a direct port injection, with NOS Noszles under the fuel injectors so there is no chance of a cylinder going lean. (I know there are some out there that aren't fans of nitrous, but I'm doin it. There are personal reasons) Lastly I'm thinkin' of an XP cam. That would be a little more involved, so it'* less likely to happen. If I can find someone in WA who has swapped a cam and could help, it'd be a lot more likely to happen.

Any guesstimates on ET and HP? I'll do a before and after dyno after each mod, but probably won't hit the strip 'till next spring. This is gonna be fun.....

lol, shadd, you change your mind too often

If you need a hand sometime, let me know. I'm not too far away I'll try to loose more valve cover bolts.

I typically work weekends though, so give me PLENTY of warning

So that figures to about $10,000 worth of parts.

The nitrous should give you the cooling effect.
You need to add larger injectors to your list.

Must have been a good crop this year. Can you smoke that stuff.

150 hp gain should put you in 8 Ball territory.

I hope it'* not 10,000 bucks. Tranny 3000-ish, already got the nitrous, cam 300 bucks, Noszles 400bucks, Gen V and LIM 900 bucks. 4600 bucks-ish. Not so much a good harvest, all the money I made went right back into the damn stacker, but I've got a good job this winter.

Shadd, I am very impressed. You always said you wanted to shoot for some of the top Bonneville honors and you are following through, big time. Awesome, just awesome.

This is going to be an awesome build-up. We really need to get driverjohn involved to help out and take pics....or get you a good digi camera and something better than dial-up.
