what would be the max over bore be
i plan on using a intercooler, smaller pulley and the bottle on a s1 l67. would increasing the cylinder diameter be worth buying oversized pistons? how much would i safely be abel to go? would a stroker kit be worth the machine work and the cost?

i was thinking that the stroker kit and over boreing was for guys who ran ot of things to mod. basicly scratching the bottom of the bucket. i just want to make sure when i have it all torn apart i do everything so i don't have to do it again.

The bigest I've seen on a 3800 is .20" over. People usually will do .10" over the first rebuild time just to have a good wall to start with. Then if they rebuild again they can go to .20". A stroker kit will increase torque and boreing will increase HP. Don't spend too much on boreing though because it will not increase HP that much.
