Currently we are both at 181K on the odometer. Now with the mods He has a little jump, but within about 150 feet I start pulling on him and by the time we get about 1/8 mile I have him by a couple car lengths (2-3) and by the time I hit 1/4 mile he has really fallen way back (about 6-8 car lengths).
With the better airflow in my car I have Alot more power in the high rpms. I finally got my cousin to race me in his 1996 Buick Riviera with the 240hp Series I SC'ed 3800 with only the K&N drop-in I gave him.
He really whooped me on the jump with his traction control on, but once I hit about 30 mph he stops pulling on me and I do actually start catching up to him. From 60-80 I actually inch ahead of him, but very slowly -that'* why I say "inching ahead".
Wow, the Series 2 engine has more torque and HP... wonder why you bet him so bad, especially if he has mods too.

depends on the weather..sea level...your reaction to the tree...or stoplite...times differ..a guy with lotsa mods can be beat if the other guy has everything come together.....i have ran my Beast on test and tune day....damn..i have to put a rollbar in now if i what to run there again...rules rules rules sheeeeeeeeeez but since mine is just for "street" use ...nope..so i`ll just enjoy what i have and pull the 3.79 tranny out and put in the 2.69 tranny for "cruzin"

Back when my dad had the 1993 N/A Bonneville, I got a best of 16.281 at 82.11 mph all stock. Cool air, sea level.

I hit 15.7seconds in the 1/4 mile but that was before I had my Cold Air Duct inplace and I have noticed noticible power after 30mph from that I cruise now from 30-100

If you get the reaction I got then you'll see this a lot . When you eat a few cars up then the reaction is much more like this . It is so much fun.
