Ive had two 4t40'* self destruct behind a 93 and 96 3100 with reg maintinence and no real abuse..And two go behind the same LN3...was just my concern i guess just baby it or make it stronger

Interesting. This trans seems to be alright. The only problems its gave me was one of the cooler lines sprung a leak, but thats long since fixed now.

I'll do some shopping around and stuff, see what I can come up with. Once winter'* over I can start wrenching on this car and driving my 2WD *-10 again.
