I believe you'd lose a crap load of torque with all of the outflow.. I have a supercharged model and i don't even need the true dual exhaust. Most of us recommend a single Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler with a dual outlet.. Looks the same and sounds gorgeous!

True dual exhaust would never work because you would need another O2. So not only are you looking at custom headers and custom DP'*, and another cat - you are also looking at a very custom PCM - And for what? The extra weight of another exhaust going to the rear? Just my .02 cents

Instead of true dual exhaust, you can probably rig up something custom to just get dual outlets from the cat-back, which would probably yield you more power, without sacrificing low end torque.

you could use all stock piping, then right under the trunk where the exhaust makes a bend, split that off and have 2 mufflers. That would be better than a true dual
