proper plug gapping
I am gonna pick up some v-powers this week, but I was wondering what you guys use to gap them and make sure they are correct. .060 is the right distance for my car, correct?

.060 is correct. The NGK plugs are usually gapped right, but be anal about it anyway. Buy a GOOD gapper, round wire. Don't be cheap. Flat feeler gauges won't do for plugs.

the plugs will be like $12-15, right? How much is a good gapper like the one you are talking about? Do I need any other tools? I think my dad has some anti-sieze stuff I can put on the threads. I bet the ones in there now are sealed in hardcore.

I always just used a gapper from autozone, cost like a buck or two. Usually in the checkout line. I cant really afford to buy expensive equipment for stuff like that. It is a little cirlce thing that you can also put on your keycahin or something. Been using it for several years and no problems.

NO! A couple bucks apiece for the V-Powers. They're not Platinum or Irridium, they're copper.
I order mine 12 at a time for 20 something bucks.

i bought the Autolite Double platinums (cheapest plats at the store, the only NGKs they had were the iridiums). Will these work okay in our cars or will they be eaten like the Bosch plugs?
On another note, how should I use the little gradual gapper? Have it so that its snug at .060 or so I barely feel resistance at .060?
